The Opportunity:

Fahrenheit Security Ltd is expanding its specialist Event Security team and is seeking highly experienced, SIA-licensed Security Officers with a minimum of one year's experience working within luxury events, premium hospitality, VIP functions or comparable high-end environments.

This opportunity is suited to professionals who understand that supporting discerning and exceptionally private clients requires more than conventional security experience. Impeccable presentation, sound judgement, absolute discretion and an instinctive understanding of service excellence are essential.

We are looking to establish a carefully selected pool of trusted security professionals who can consistently deliver the highest standards of operational competence, discretion and professionalism.

Our officers must understand the importance of maintaining a confident, reassuring and appropriately unobtrusive security presence while ensuring the safety and comfort of clients, guests and staff.

The Role:

Assignments will vary according to client requirements, venue, event format and operational needs. Officers may work independently or alongside a wider security and event management team.

Responsibilities may include:

Maintaining a professional, composed and appropriately visible security presence.
Protecting clients, guests, staff, property and the wider event environment.
Managing access control, guest lists, accreditation and entry procedures.
Conducting guest screening and security checks where required.
Managing challenging interactions and incidents calmly, proportionately and professionally.
Liaising discreetly with clients, event organisers, venue management and fellow security personnel.
Supporting crowd management and maintaining a safe, controlled environment.
Delivering exceptional guest interaction while maintaining appropriate security awareness.
Upholding confidentiality and protecting sensitive information relating to clients, guests, venues and assignments.
Representing Fahrenheit Security Ltd and its clients to the highest professional standard at all times.

Officers must be comfortable operating in environments where expectations are high, attention to detail is essential and professional conduct is paramount.

Essential experience requirement: Candidates must have a minimum of 12 months' demonstrable experience working in luxury events, premium hospitality, VIP functions or comparable high-end environments.

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

Luxury event experience: At least one year's relevant experience within luxury events, premium hospitality or similarly high-standard environments.
Exceptional presentation: A consistently polished, smart and professional appearance appropriate to exclusive venues and discerning clientele.
Discretion and integrity: A thorough understanding of confidentiality, professional boundaries and the importance of protecting sensitive client information.
Situational awareness: The ability to anticipate potential issues, recognise changing circumstances and exercise sound judgement.
Composure under pressure: A calm, measured and confident approach to challenging or unexpected situations.
Interpersonal excellence: Strong communication skills and the ability to engage appropriately with VIP guests, clients, senior stakeholders and venue personnel.
Professional judgement: An understanding of when to intervene, when to observe and when to escalate a concern.
Reliability: Excellent timekeeping, preparedness, flexibility and a dependable approach to accepting and fulfilling assignments.
Teamwork: The ability to work effectively within a coordinated security operation and independently when required.
A strong work ethic: Honesty, integrity, accountability and a genuine commitment to professional standards.

Experience at prestigious venues, exclusive private functions, luxury hospitality events or occasions attended by ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals will be a distinct advantage.

Presentation and Dress Code:

Personal presentation is essential. Officers will represent both Fahrenheit Security Ltd and its clients in premium environments where appearance, conduct and attention to detail contribute directly to the overall guest experience.

Depending on the assignment, the required dress code may include:

Black tailored suit.
White formal shirt.
Black smart, polished shoes.
Professional grooming and presentation.

Specific attire will be confirmed for each assignment. Candidates must be able to meet the required dress standard consistently.

Essential Requirements:

Applicants must possess:

A current SIA Frontline Close Protection OR Door Supervisor licence.
A minimum of 12 months' demonstrable experience in luxury events, premium hospitality, VIP functions or comparable high-end environments.
The legal right to work in the UK.
A verifiable employment history suitable for the required BS 7858 screening process.
A DBS check meeting the requirements of the role and applicable screening procedures.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Strong communication, interpersonal and situational awareness skills.
Flexibility to undertake ad-hoc assignments, including evenings and weekends.
The ability to travel to venues throughout Central London and the surrounding areas.
A professional approach to confidentiality, client privacy and information security.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their relevant experience and provide suitable employment references as part of the selection and screening process.

Hours and Assignments:

This is an ad-hoc opportunity offering assignments according to client demand and operational requirements.

Typical shift lengths range from approximately 9 to 12 hours, although timings will vary depending on the event.

Assignments may take place during the day, in the evening or at weekends.

Officers who consistently demonstrate the required standards, reliability and professionalism may be considered for further assignments and ongoing opportunities.

Rates of Pay:

Rates start from £18.00 - £20.00 per hour, depending on the assignment, venue, operational requirements and level of experience required.

The applicable rate, shift timings and assignment details will be confirmed in advance.
